Utilising quality shadecloth, we fabricate & install:-
All our attachment points on our shade sails are reinforced with heavy duty UV resistant webbing and heavy duty UV Resistant vinyl in a colour similar to the shadecloth chosen. Our sails are supplied with marine grade 316 stainless steel turnbuckles and fittings for easy removal before the onset of cyclone rated winds - which can be a common problem in North Queensland. Turnbuckles also allow for ease of tensioning and adjustment of the sails. All centre seams are heat welded using hot wedge welders or stitched where required. The PTFE (Teflon) thread we use for stitching the outside hems & other seams carries a 15 year pro-rata warranty against UV degradation. We can fabricate sails with stainless steel cable edge or UV resistant webbing edges depending upon size & preference.
Shadecloth Sails and covers are available in commercial grade Shadecloth in a variety of appealing & stylish colours and styles.
We use premium quality shade cloth from reputable manufacturers including some Australian made material. Shade cloth can be supplied with shade factor ranges as low as 30% shade for horticultural use & up to 95% for high UVR protection. A wide variety of shadecloth materials are available including material that has 10 year Pro- rata warranties, very high strength properties, high Fire retardant properties, different weaves (mono/tape or mono/mono), vibrant colours & other features. Manufacturers include Gale Synthesis, ProKnit Industries Monotec, Polyfab, Alnet, Rainbow shade & others.
Utilising speciality Waterproof Architectural PVC membranes, we can fabricate & install architectural vinyl membranes to suit:-
Using MPanel computer modelling software and Automated computer aided plotter cutter, we can produce architectural vinyl membranes that endeavour to provide even tension over structures and between attachment points. We source quality reinforced PVC membranes from leading suppliers & manufactures to provide durable & long lasting membranes for your structure. Our suppliers of Stainless steel wire & fittings provide hardware that has been proof tested & have a good track record for use in tension membrane structures.
Using High Frequency welders, the PVC material is homogeneously welded to provide strong watertight seams for the completed membrane. With a network of steel structure fabricators/installers & engineers, we can direct you to experienced specialists in design & construction of large tension membrane structures.
