At Beehive Vinyl we manufacture, alter & repair high quality truck / trailer curtains & covers for many transport operation fleets & other commercial & domestic customers.
We can manufacture, repair & alter side curtains, retractable curtains, roll up curtains, roll over tarps, retractable load covers, bitumen asphalt covers, full canopies, flat heavy duty tarps, load restraint tarps, clear refrigeration trailer curtains & cold air fluming as well as for smaller vehicles we make tonneau covers, vinyl or shade cloth ute load covers, canopy covers & trailers, boat trailers & horse float covers & curtains.
We also have a variety of quality hardware & components for side curtains & covers including rollers, buckles, binders, tie rail hooks, d rings etc
Our workshop hardstand area enables easy access for several 45 foot trailers to be dropped off for installation, replacement or repairing of curtains and covers. Our man boxes with forklifts along with large working platform ladders allows us to carry out removal, repairs & replacements to side curtains & hardware.
All work is done in house by our tradesmen to the highest of standards and quality. The materials we can use are specified for use as heavy duty transport curtains and covers & are of high quality that will withstand the harsh Australian environment. Transport curtain & covers specific materials are UV stabilised, FR treated, Strong & Durable, dimensionally stable, are printable & come in a variety of colours.
Fabrication process can be done through different methods including thermal heat welding, HF Welding or stitching of the seams. Welding of the seams (canvas excepted) provides a 100% waterproofing solution providing a stronger bond on some materials. We utilise quality threads when stitching our seams such as Poly bonded thread or PTFE thread (teflon).
